That just shows how popular the IP is. This new entry is by far the worst scoring one being at 68 metacritic. This game is meta immune weather it’s good for bad minecraft will always mine minecraft.
It mentions the PS5 and PS4 numbers were significantly lower while no mention of Switch. That’s the thing all these AA games do well on Xbox it’s just the AAA games that perform way better on PS. MS needs to change that. Their games need to have that big buy feel this year make a big deal out of your studios games. It did mention Atomic Heart and Rise doing well on Xbox but that’s through active users and player counts not sales.
Anyway thats cool that Minecraft on a big launch though.
