This sequel follows the journey of former God of War and new sad dad Kratos as he and son Atreus explore a world rooted in Norse mythology. It’s set three years after the previous game and is set in the middle of Fimbulwinter, an enduring and severe cold, one of the first signs of Ragnarok, the Norse event that is foretold to occur after what went down in the previous game.
It’s a lengthy adventure and many consider it to be one of Sony Santa Monica’s best. You’ve still got some time left to enjoy it before the new wave of games gets here, and it’s well worth a pick-up at this price.
