TL;DR: Home Depot has released a limited restock of its Original 12-Foot Skeleton(opens in a new tab) ($299) and Inferno Pumpkin Skeleton(opens in a new tab) ($379), the pair’s first appearance for 2023. Both are available on the home improvement retailer’s website while supplies last.

Time is a flat circle; life marches on without remorse, and, indeed, a Halloween icon just made its official return for yet another year.

Home Depot has released a surprise “Halfway to Halloween” restock(opens in a new tab) of its legendary 12-foot giant skeleton with LCD LifeEyes(opens in a new tab), the endearingly macabre prop that’s become a fixture on America’s lawns and social media feeds since its initial debut to pandemic-fueled fanfare in 2020.

Our beloved Skelly is joined once again by the upgraded 12-foot Inferno Pumpkin skeleton(opens in a new tab) with a glowing ribcage and rotted, rootlike bones, which is priced at $379 for 2023 — a $30 price bump from previous years. (Inflation comes for us all eventually!)

For anyone hooting and hollering about how it’s literally only April, know that taking advantage of an early restock is probably the best way to ensure you get one of these Big Boys before spooky season is in full swing. Definitely don’t count on demand subsiding from previous years: Home Depot lists inventory numbers on its website, and about 200 of each skeleton sold out while I was writing this article.

May those animated LifeEyes look upon you with kindness.
