The town of Redfall (split across two maps) has little more to offer than an empty environment, with no notable points of interest, no reason to deviate from the main objectives for exploration. The game becomes tedious, requiring in various places to walk for a long time to the next objective with no justification for this “empty” space.
To add to the above, we should mention the bad enemy AI, taking us back many years. Their behavior is completely unnatural, seeing them sometimes just standing motionless in the face of our fire, or other times passing in front of us to take cover in baffling positions, or not being able to perceive where the shots are coming from.
