The Boys Crossover With Call Of Duty Season 4 Teased In New Trailer

Activision revealed the Season 4 trailer for Call of Duty: Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 during Summer Game Fest, giving players a look at the new Vondel map for battle royale and DMZ. The trailer also included a brief tease of an upcoming collaboration with Amazon Prime’s The Boys television series.

Blink and you’ll miss it, but you can find The Boys logo on the side of a building at the 1-minute mark of Call of Duty’s Season 4 trailer. This subtle tease suggests we will see some sort of collaboration with the satire-based superheroes within Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.

This upcoming collaboration will likely be in the form of a cosmetic operator bundle in the in-game shop. While the details haven’t been revealed yet, there is speculation on which characters could be arriving to Call of Duty.

The Boys official Twitter account tweeted the screenshot of the tease with an image of Homelander, who is played by Antony Starr. However, if there’s only one character coming to the game, Karl Urban’s Billy Butcher is the most likely candidate. Activision recently revealed the Season 4 roadmap, and all of the upcoming operators were revealed except one called “Butch,” who was teased as being a “redacted” operator.

Major collaborations in Call of Duty are no longer surprising to see. Call of Duty: Vanguard added the masked assassins known as Hazel and Cha-Cha from the popular Netflix series Umbrella Academy. Attack on Titan received operator bundles in Vanguard, and most recently, Shredder from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles got an operator bundle in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.

Season 4 is also set to include a brand-new battle pass, more DLC weapons, and more. Make sure to check out everything for Season 4 of Modern Warfare 2, including all the new maps and modes. Here we break down all the new battle royale features and DMZ changes for Season 4 of Warzone 2.
