This 23% discount actually places it within a reasonable range for a (high-end) hair dryer and at the lowest price we’ve ever seen on a new model.
Just one month ago, we investigated whether or not this ultra-powered and ultra-priced dryer was still worth it, especially with so many affordable dupes on the market. Undeniably, it’s an impressive hair dryer: It dries hair reliably in around 10 minutes or less without huge blasts of damaging heat, it’s tiny and easy to store, relatively quiet, and comes with five magnetic attachments.
Still, during our testing we couldn’t help but shake the feeling that $430 was just a little too steep of an asking price. Plus, the dryer didn’t come with a carrying case. However, this deal addresses two of our biggest gripes: The limited-edition colorway is the only version of the Supersonic that comes with a carrying case, and $330, though still an investment, is a much more stomachable asking price, especially if you’re someone who dries their hair devotedly and daily.
