Its funny to think back to the school days of kids arguing over Nintendo vs Sega vs NEC (yes…NEC). And as the kid who had the NEC, of course I had to weigh in when people were taking shots at it because they had no personal experience. Many of my friends would come over and play the wide variety of platforms and came to realize that picking sides just wasnt as much fun as simply playing the games.
It’s far worse now than it was and the tribalism has gotten even further out of hand. Games are meant to be played, not argued over because the platform they are on.
