The Quartermaster’s frame is about a foot longer than the Grenadier’s, and it will be powered by the same 3.0-liter BMW straight six gasoline engine and ZF eight-speed automatic transmission used in the SUV.
The pickup can tow just over 7,700 pounds and will be available in the same three trims as the Grenadier: Standard, Trialmaster and Fieldmaster. Pricing will be announced next year. Quartermaster made its debut Thursday at England’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, along with a hydrogen fuel cell-powered Grenadier demonstration vehicle.
Ineos said U.S. orders for the Quartermaster will open next year, but the timing of initial deliveries in 2024 has not been set. Output for the U.S. and Canada will begin in 2024, Ineos said, with orders and production for other markets slated to start this year.
Ineos will name its initial U.S. dealers in September.
