After years of anticipation, Disney is finally releasing select seasons of its Marvel and Star Wars Disney Plus shows on Blu-ray and 4K UHD. The first wave includes the first seasons of Loki and WandaVision, and Star Wars: The Mandalorion Seasons 1 and 2. The physical releases will feature each episode in 4K UHD and standard Blu-ray formats and will include collectible concept art cards, all-new bonus feature content, and special steelbook packaging featuring illustrations by Attila Szarka.
While we know what each of the steelbook sets looks like, and the general content each will include, Loki Season 1 is the release we know the most about. Along with the complete season on Blu-ray, the steelbook case, and the bonus concept art cards, Loki Season 1 will also include bonus features like deleted scenes, a gag reel, and behind-the-scenes featurettes.
Disney’s official press release says more information will be shared about the other three steelbook sets at a later date, but we expect them to feature similar bonus materials.
The Blu-ray sets will launch over the coming months, starting with Loki on September 26, followed by WandaVision on November 28, and Star Wars: The Mandalorian Seasons 1 and 2 will drop as two as separate releases on December 12. The prices have not been announced, but you can preorder all four starting August 28.

These new steelbook sets are dropping at just the right time. Loki Season 2 premieres on October 6, while a spin-off of WandaVision is in development along with a bunch of other Marvel TV series. The Mandalorian wrapped its third season earlier this year, and while it might be a while before season four premieres, the next Star Wars mini-series, Star Wars: Ahsoka, begins on August 22.
