Don’t let the glasses and man bun trick you, Kad Thorne is a villainous vampire trying to overtake the Island in Fortnite Last Resort. The cinematic trailer for Chapter 4 Season 4 of the battle royale game introduces the baddie to the game while also revealing the new battle pass characters, including an Ahsoka Tano reveal at the end, tying in with the just-released Star Wars show on Disney+.

The new trailer–seen below–also appears to showcase a new briefcase turret gun and an EMP-like grenade that disables foes. The return of the mythic drum gun seems to be in the cards too, as one of the new battle pass characters picks it up for inspection. But he and the others are stopped by Thorne, who possibly might be a mid-season skin tied into a Halloween event.

Going on heists at Thorne’s properties is a major theme of Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4, according to Epic and highlighted in the video. That means you can sneak into new locations like Sanguine Suites, Relentless Retreat, and Eclipsed Estate.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 is set to start tomorrow, August 25. Epic has been teasing the upcoming season for a while at this point, as it was known popular TikToker Khaby Lame would be included as a battle pass character. There have also been leaks about a potential Lego collaboration on the way for this season.

While waiting for Last Resort to go live, Fortnite now has a Final Fantasy XIV-like boss raid to check out, thanks to fans.
