There are endless similarities between the Dyson Airwrap and the Shark FlexStyle, our No. 1 dupe for the former. Both are hair tools made by vacuum companies, both have sleek metallic finishes, both employ Coanda airflow technology to style hair without frying it, and both come with a range of attachments. They’re also both incredibly difficult to find on sale.
That makes this Best Buy deal we found all the more special: For a limited time, you’ll receive a free $30 gift card when you order a FlexStyle through the electronics retailer. You can take your pick from two sets — one with attachments for straight/wavy hair, and another with attachments geared toward curly/coily hair — which are priced at $299.99 apiece.
This is the closest thing we’ve seen to a proper FlexStyle discount since Prime Day, when a bundle with some extra accessories was almost $60 off on Amazon.
If you are interested in the Airwrap, you can save $120 on it by signing up for a paid My Best Buy membership (bringing its price down from $699.99 to $579.99). But Mashable shopping reporter and beauty tech guru Bethany Allard still recommends against it: “The Shark FlexStyle performs just as well, and in some cases even outperforms the Airwrap” thanks to the twisting mechanism in its base. This makes it usable as a traditional hair dryer and compatible with a diffuser attachment, which Dyson doesn’t offer.
