Didn’t backlash get Sony to address their GT7 nonsense?
Do you think PlayStation games are great quality because Sony wants to put effort into their titles, or do you think their consumers are fully content with not supporting a game if it’s not great? I’m pretty sure that’s why we’ve yet to hear about Factions much: it’s not in a presentable state.
Sony does some pretty shitty things. Ryan’s era is frankly my least enjoyable one. That said, no, I don’t think PlayStation gamers are willing to just accept anything. Portal is very unlikely to be successful. But as far as where they really did great, the PS5 tech is excellent and the DualSense is a damn fine controller. They’re clearly being pushed to do more and do better.
I would say there’s going to be an evident drop in subs. Shoot on over to X, and you tell me what people are willing to accept.
