Been playing Mario games since the nes and I didn’t miss the timer it’s something I rarely if ever come up against even when ive explored a level they were always very generous with one exception new super Luigi Bros U but that was designed to actually be a punish.
Actually I’ve always found it funny that Mario had the timer where sonic which was always about speed did not and the timer counts up.
