Nintendo will continue to be about why we play games in the first place, interactivity (gameplay). If gameplay continues to be the centre of their focus then I hope they forever remain in their ‘comfort zone’.
Personally, I’d rather not have an entire library of first party games all cinematic driven. Sometimes I just wanna pick up a game and play it without being interrupted with a cut scene. It’s very rare that I find a story captivating. Video game stories are usually very basic and forgettable IMO.
