This is ridiculous, gaming seems to just gradually be going down the shitter, and it’s not all because of the publishers either. Too much same think is going on from the community as well, solid opinions formed about something that they’ve never even played “apparently” complaining about every little thing that’s disliked as if it’s some extinction level event without even offering up some unbiased view on the projects at hand.
It’s all either the next big thing or the next great flop there is no in between. “I don’t like it” so let’s flood the media outlet’s with mass negativity until it’s nuked out of existence and then continue to complain about what we don’t want and can’t get anymore.
What people enjoy in games is supposed to be a subjective thing it doesn’t always need to be the next great game to milk for content or to stream or whatever. The older era’s of gaming where full of games that weren’t so great, but there are people who still enjoyed them, now it’s just every game that doesn’t deliver exactly everything that a person wants and that steers a little off course from the norm is a colossal failure to make memes off of etc etc.
Both sides are FoS and it’s becoming a complete joke.
