Martin O’Donnell is best known to gamers for his music for the iconic Halo and Destiny franchises, but he has also contributed to games such as Myth and Oni. Over the past 30 years or so, he has created a number of legendary tracks that have underscored the emotional impact of the game and become timeless. Sector had the chance to meet him and talk about his inspirations, creating the legendary Gregorian chants for the Halo soundtrack, and the future of game music.
