Nintendo has had an informative 2024 so far, and following in the footsteps of recent Direct and Pokemon Presents livestreams, the company is shining a spotlight on upcoming indie games for the Switch console. Like its other broadcasts, you can expect a stream of game trailers and announcements, although no specific games or developers were announced in advance of the show. What Nintendo has revealed is that its Indie World Showcase will run for roughly 20 minutes and every game featured is expected to arrive in 2024.
Right now, the biggest indie game that might make an appearance is Hollow Knight: Silksong. Team Cherry’s game has been operating under radio silence for years now, but with recent ratings on the Australian and Korean classification boards, there’s speculation that it could make a much-anticipated appearance today.
