The Lego Store’s Star Wars Day promotion is live now, which means it’s time to wait in queues and hopefully secure one or two of the brand-new Lego Star Wars sets launching as part of the festivities. As usual with Lego’s big events like Star Wars Day, you can get free bonus Lego sets with your order. The sale only runs through Sunday, May 5, and popular items could sell out sooner.

In addition to Star Wars Day, Lego is celebrating 25 years of its collaboration with Star Wars that has produced a staggering number of building sets. There has been no shortage of very cool Star Wars Lego kits, but not many have the distinction of being added to the Ultimate Collector Series. The brand-new TIE Interceptor is one of them. At $230 and close to 2,000 pieces, the Ultimate Collector Series TIE Interceptor is a fairly pricey and large-scale build–though it’s not nearly as expensive as some previous additions to the UCS (i.e. the Razor Crest Starship).

New Star Wars Lego Sets for Star Wars Day

  • Spend $40 to get ATT Lego set
  • Spend $90 to get Battle of Yavin Medallion
  • Spend $160 to get Trade Federation Troop Carrier Lego set

The TIE Interceptor is only available for Lego Insiders (free to sign up) until May 4, when it will be available for everyone. You’ll get three free Lego Star Wars gifts with your purchase: Trade Federation Troop Carrier Lego set ($30 value), a small AAT (Armored Assault Tank) Lego set ($15 value), and the Battle of Yavin medallion with a slipcover display case.

You can get the three freebies without buying the TIE Interceptor by spending a certain amount of money on Star Wars Lego sets during the sale. You’ll get all three if you spend at least $160, two if you spend at least $90, and one if you snag $40 worth of Lego Star Wars products.

Other new sets launching alongside the TIE Interceptor include: Darth Maul’s Sith Infiltrator spaceship, a stunning Mos Espa podrace diorama, and a cool Droideka model for you to display. You can take a closer look at the new Lego Star Wars sets below. Make sure to check out the Lego Store’s deals older sets as well as our roundup of early Star Wars Day Lego deals.
