At least Microsoft doesn’t revoke access to games you’ve already bought. Consider a scenario where Helldivers 2 is released globally on Steam, then it mandates a PSN account and removes the game from 177 countries, thereby blocking your ability to play. Such a tactic could easily be seen as a scheme for making quick money. If an individual were to do this, they would likely face numerous lawsuits from all directions.
