Little information is known about the incident, however, a video posted to YouTube by user Cop Block shows the burned-out remains of the German brand’s electric sedan within the charred confines of a garage. A Porsche spokesperson told Automotive News that the company is “investigating” the matter, while also confirming that “no one was harmed in [the] incident and that it’s too early to speculate on the cause until the investigation has concluded. ”
Whether this Taycan’s demise is the result of a manufacturing flaw, user error, or something else entirely will hopefully come to light in the coming days or weeks. Until then, watch the video below to see what’s left of this Porsche EV.
