GameStop has been having back-to-back sales recently, including a massive Game Days sale that launched this Sunday just as its Fourth of July sale ended. The Game Days sale is one of the best ones we’ve seen at GameStop all year, offering steep discounts on first-party Switch games along with PS4 and Xbox One games. But if you prefer to shop at Amazon, you can take advantage of some of the same deals there, as the mega-retailer is price-matching many of GameStop’s best game deals.
Notably, you can nab first-party Switch games Super Mario Maker 2 and New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe for $40 each. These are selling out fast–Splatoon 2’s discount ended as I was writing this up–so we recommend grabbing anything that catches your eye today. These titles don’t get much cheaper than this, and they’re rarely this low outside of events like Black Friday. Some Switch deals have already sold out at Amazon, but you can still find Splatoon 2, Mario Tennis Aces, and Yoshi’s Crafted World for $40 each at GameStop.
The sale also includes the recent 2K Switch ports that launched on Switch this May. Normally $50 each, you can already save $10 each on physical Switch copies of BioShock: The Collection, XCOM 2 Collection, and Borderlands: Legendary Collection, now $40 a copy. Be sure to check out GameStop’s sale before it ends on July 11, though, as some deals are still only available there. In addition to Splatoon 2, Mario Tennis Aces, and Yoshi’s Crafted World, you can find Persona 5 Royal for just $40, Assassin’s Creed: The Rebel Collection for $20, and Darksiders III for just 5 bucks. In other deals news, the Steam Summer Sale is still going strong until this Thursday, July 9, and you can see our roundups of the best deals, including the best cheap games under $10 and the best PC exclusives on sale.
