Amazon Prime Day 2024 is practically here. If you don’t want to miss out on the best deals of the season, there are a few things you might want to know. For starters, when does the official shopping event begin? With deals flooding your feed for weeks already, it’s easy to get your wires crossed. We’ve got you covered with all the nitty-gritty details.

What time does Amazon Prime Day 2024 start?

While early birds have already started saving, Prime Day proper doesn’t kick off until July 16 at 3:01 a.m. ET (12:01 a.m. PT). The deals run for 48 hours, with new deals dropping as often as every five minutes throughout the event. If you don’t want to get up before the sun to snag deals, you’ll have plenty of time to shop.

When does Amazon Prime Day 2024 end?

The 48-hour Prime Day shopping period officially closes at 3:01 a.m. ET (12:01 a.m. PT) on July 18, but some deals tend to linger for days (weeks, even!) after. If you’re in the market for a hot ticket item, however, we recommend grabbing it during the official Prime Day event.

What are the best early Prime Day deals?

Prime Day is a great time to buy things like Apple products, robot vacuums, fitness trackers, TVs, headphones, and of course, Amazon’s own devices. But that doesn’t mean you should splurge on something you don’t need. And it also doesn’t mean every deal is worth it. Need help deciphering what deals are actually worth grabbing? Check out our guide on what to buy and what not to buy on Prime Day. Better yet, follow along with our live blog to know what’s worth adding to your cart in real time.
