They were given all of Microsoft’s resources and were handed their biggest IP, they had such a head start handling Halo but they butchered it at every chance they had. They spent most of the time trying to change things to move it away from it being seen as Bungie franchise and known as a 343 one
Halo 4 they tried to change the multiplayer
Halo 5 they tried to change the single player with squads, forcing single player gamers to be paired with AI teammates. Not to mention trying to bring in Agent Locke which was clearly an attempt of replacing Chief, I mean they tried so hard to make him a thing.
Halo Infinite a desperate attempt to jump on the open world trend
The worse thing is their trilogy felt so disconnected where 5 and Infinite felt like isolated adventures despite the cliffhangers in the last game.
They had no f****** clue what they were doing and it showed.
