Sometimes all I want is just a simple sci fi show with good special effects. I’m not expecting a 1:1 of the source material as so many great games and movies weren’t carbon copies of the source material. I don’t want to watch a show where if your mind wanders for 5 seconds you just wasted an opportunity to understand the show. I don’t want a “this blonde girl that you thought was the true dungeon queen wasn’t the dungeon queen because another blonde girl that looks exactly like her was the true dungeon queen”. Sometimes all it takes is some boobs and gore to get 6 seasons of a show.
