Fortnite Festival is a lot of fun and has been a great addition to the Fortnite ecosystem–jam tracks cost too much, but I’ve gotten plenty of mileage from my song purchases between time spent in the actual Festival mode as well as jamming during games of battle royale. But the shopping experience for songs is a nightmare.
For whatever reason, there’s no way to see a song’s difficulty in the item shop or your locker–the only place in the game you can see song difficulty at all is in the song picker on the Festival stage, and between songs during a session. But even then, you’re only seeing one song and/or one instrument at a time.
This is frustrating because it makes it difficult to understand the scope of what’s available. I’d say I’m a fairly hardcore player by this point, and my favorites tend to be tracks that have 5 or more bars of difficulty on drums. But there is no way in Fortnite to see which songs have 5 bars or more on drums without scrolling through them all individually in the song picker. And the song picker only shows songs owned by somebody in your session–so you’re probably never seeing everything there anyway.
This annoyed me, and so I made a big spreadsheet organizing every Festival song by difficulty and instrument–this will help you shop for songs that are within your comfort level without having to keep googling stuff individually.
You can check out the results below, and this list will be updated weekly when new jam tracks drop. Enjoy.
