With the upcoming NBA season slowly approaching, the Orlando Magic decided to have some fun announcing its 2024-2025 schedule. And what’s more fun than animating two of the team’s star players–Cole Anthony and Jonathan Isaac–to send them through the multiverse of cartoons to reveal where they’ll be playing their games?

The video was shared on the official Orlando Magic X account. The video had Anthony and Isaac talking to the likes of both Spider-Men from the Spider-verse films, the Ninja Turtles from Mutant Mayhem, Rick from Rick and Morty, the X-Men from ’97, and even attempting to catch Pokémon.

If you’re curious about the team schedule lineup, below is a list of the teams they’ll be playing.

  • Orlando Vs. Chicago – Nov 27, 2024
  • Orlando Vs. Miami – Dec 21, 2024
  • Orlando Vs. Boston – Dec, 23, 2024
  • Orlando Vs. Knicks – Dec 27, 2024
  • Orlando Vs. Milwaukee – Jan 10
  • Orlando Vs. San Antonio Feb 8
  • Orlando Vs. Atlanta – Feb 10
  • Orlando Vs. Cleveland – Feb 25
  • Orlando Vs. Toronto – Mar 2

It’s also worth mentioning that the Orlando Magic aren’t the only ones who have done this. Last year, the Los Angeles Chargers made a similar video but leaned more into the anime aesthetic, referencing popular shows such as Attack on Titan, Chainsaw Man, and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.

In other basketball news, 2K recently shared its first image of Caitlin Clark And Angel Reese in its upcoming game, NBA 2K25.
