“Do you have a video link to Phil laughing about making big money out of multiple platforms?”

I do. Here it is!

“I believe right now one of the biggest risks to Xbox’s survival, is that Sony paying teams to keep content off Xbox.

“[Shipping games on PlayStation] enables them to use the revenue they make from our content to sign 3rd party exclusive games to block from our platform.

“They can use revenue from the games we ship on their platform to block Xbox’s survival. I feel like I’m enabling an aggressive competitor to further our aspirations.

“Every time we ship a game on PlayStation, going back to the 70-30 split, Sony captures 30% of revenue that we do on their platform. And then they use that money among other revenue to do things to try to reduce Xbox’s survival on the market.”

My bad. That’s evidence of Phil testifying that putting games on PS is detrimental to Xbox and its survival on the market. Kind of the opposite of beneficial to Xbox gamers. I know. Not what we’re looking for. That’s on me.

Let me try again. Ask and you shall receive!

“Indeed.

“Doesn´t make sense at all! Specially when Satya Nadella himself is boasting amazing numbers post ABK´s acquisition, telling everyone how Xbox is now Microsoft´s third biggest business!

“I can´t believe that Phil made his way all the way to the top, just to turn his back on Xbox gamers.”

Darn it all to heck. What’s with me? That’s not evidence of Phil laughing either. That’s evidence of Obscure agreeing with someone who said putting Indiana Jones on PS would be “an extremely shortsighted decision,” declaring that doing so “doesn’t make sense at all” while in disbelief that “Phil made his way all the way to the top, just to turn his back on Xbox gamers,” over six months ago when it was still raw before he fell back in line and started conning himself with spin about how this “shortsighted decision” is actually a strategic long play to the benefit of the Xbox gamers Phil turned his back on.
