No it’s not, PS+ Essential gives you new games every month.
It gets games like LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga, Five Nights at Freddy’s Security Breach, Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights, two popular franchises and a highly regarded indie. The month before that Borderlands 3, NHL 24, Among Us, again two popular franchises and a highly regarded indie.
Game Pass Core hasn’t gotten anything since July, and before that it was August 2023, and the games were just games that were already on Game Pass not even new games to the service.
