Well, according to Japanese players, the game had a very good foundation and was fun to play for the most part. However, progression was terribly annoying – as it often is with Asian MMORPGs – the game lacked content, raids were boring, and the monetization was predatory. Meanwhile, here in the West, the only time the game received any coverage after the Amazon partnership was announced was when Amazon admitted they would “change” and remove some content from the Western release to achieve a Teen rating.
That, coupled with Bandai Namco’s weak results last Quarter, makes this cancellation not surprising.
