This game is truly something special. I mean you look at the trailers and the amazing reception and praise like for example people saying it’s up there with Mario Odyssey etc, freaking guys from Nintendo Life prefer Astro Bot over Odyssey and i’m like woahh woah woah okay everybody hold the phone there lol! Let’s not get ahead of ourselves here and overhype this little game, i’m sure it’s great but come ooooooon. Mario Odyssey level? No way. And then you play it.. and it’s like ohh i see, this is not just one of the best 3D platformers easily up there with Odyssey, it’s one of the best most joyous and pure games ever made.
I’m beyond shocked that this game came from Sony at this point in time where they are more concerned with live service garbage and boring cinematic slogs like TLOU2, Ragnarok and those Horizon games. Miracles do happen from time to time i guess.
