@Obscure
That Nelson comment got to you huh. Sorry about that, uncalled for. But I’m not giving Sony a free pass at all, evident from the actual words in my comment.
If Sony had competition they would be more consumer friendly, like they were during the PS4 era. The 360 wiped the floor with the PS3. It took them nearly the whole generation before Sony could catch up.
Thankfully for Sony, and to our detriment, MS fucked up the Xbox One so badly in which they never recovered, which then led to the buyouts as a last ditch effort to stay relevant after nearly a decade of failing. This gives a free pass for Sony to do what it wants. The proof is in the PS5 Pro pricing for example ( https://www.ampereanalysis…. and is echoed by GamesIndustry.biz chief Chris Dring):
” PS5 Pro pricing reflects Sony’s adjusted strategy to protect its margin, general supply chain inflation and a lack of direct competitor to its mid-cycle upgrade compared to last generation (where Microsoft was preparing the Xbox One X). The lack of competition means it is an easier decision for Sony to run with a higher price point to protect its existing margins. “
I’m no fanboy. The facts are the facts man. Nintendo, MS AND Sony lies and says contradictory things all the time. Come on now.
That being said I’m very much looking forward to Perfect Dark, and Fable. I hope MS can right the Xbox brand to compete again. I do NOT want Sony alone on this hill. It’s not good for anyone!
PS! And please man, drop your dumb troll accounts. Makes you seem like the loser.
