As part of Best Buy’s Black Friday sale, space and sci-fi enthusiasts can get a pretty unique Lego set for its lowest price yet. Lego Ideas: Tales of the Space Age is discounted to only $35 (was $50). Amazon is matching the 30% discount, so you have two opportunities to snag this 688-piece Lego set before it’s gone.

Tales of the Space Age is one of several notable Lego deals in Best Buy’s Black Friday sale. Sci-fi fans can also save big on two Star Wars Lego sets: The Clone Commander Cody Helmet buildable model is $49 (was $70), and the Mos Espa Podrace Diorama from The Phantom Menace is $56 (was $80). Heads up for Star Wars fans: Walmart has Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder Ultimate Collector Series Lego set on sale for a huge discount.

Lego Ideas: Tales of the Space Age

Designed to be a collection of 3D postcards, Tales of the Space Age is inspired by ’80s sci-fi movies, books, and posters. Each design is an original piece, and you’ll be able to build colorful images of an observatory for viewing comets and shooting stars, a moon base under a lunar eclipse, a space shuttle, and a black hole. If you don’t want to stick to the script, you can even rearrange the blocks to create the Ursa Major, Cepheus, Ursa Minor, or Cassiopeia constellations.

As for how they’re meant to be displayed, that’s all up to you. The postcards can be connected in any order and you can display them on a flat surface or mount them on your wall using the included hangers. Overall, this is a fun afternoon build that should make for a tasteful gift or a treat to yourself.

Beyond the space-themed Lego sets, Best Buy has a few other deals on cool Lego sets, including a $45 discount on a 1,210-piece Corvette model car.
