Star Wars Outlaws Is Back On Sale For $40 For PS5 And Xbox Series X

Star Wars Outlaws is back on sale for its $40 Cyber Monday price at Amazon for PS5 and Xbox Series X. Amazon’s exclusive “Limited Edition” comes with The Rogue Infiltrator Character Pack, which features extra skins for playable character Kay Vess and her critter companion Nix. If you’re buying Outlaws as a gift, just know that only the Xbox Series X edition is expected to arrive before Christmas. Amazon’s delivery window for the PS5 version stretches into early January.

If you need the PS5 edition by Christmas, Best Buy and Target also have Outlaws on sale for $40 right now. You won’t get The Rogue Infiltrator Character Pack, but you will be able to wrap the game and place it under the Christmas tree, which is probably more important than in-game cosmetics.

Star Wars Outlaws Amazon Limited Edition — $40 ($70)

Unlike most Star Wars games that cast you as Force-using Jedi and the Sith, Star Wars Outlaws lets players fulfill their dreams of being an interstellar smuggler. The game stars Kay Vess, a young upstart scoundrel taking on dangerous jobs for various factions, including organized crime cartels and even the Galactic Empire.

It earned a 6/10 in our Star Wars Outlaws review. The gunplay is pretty solid, and many of the environments are well-designed. Plus, the gameplay is bolstered by stellar sound design and an awesome soundtrack. Unfortunately, the story and character development are underwhelming, and the mission structure, stealth sequences, and many combat encounters feel very similar. It gets repetitive. But this is exactly the type of game where waiting for a big discount makes sense. This $30 discount qualifies as that, especially if you’re shopping for a Star Wars fan this holiday.
