The Game Awards 2025 isn’t until December 11, 2025, but Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is already an obvious choice for multiple categories at the show. The Game Awards is one of the biggest annual events in the gaming industry. Each year, millions of gamers tune in to see big world premiere reveals and find out which games take home its various awards.
The Game Awards has been a massive success and it just keeps getting bigger. However, it has also received plenty of criticism. There have been complaints about games getting snubbed at The Game Awards, as well as eyebrows raised at certain nominees, like when Elden Ring DLC was in contention for Game of the Year at the latest event. Some have also taken issue with the nomination cut-off date, as games from mid-November to the end of December are not eligible in their year of release and instead have to wait for the following year to get nominated. There are times when this has led to titles getting overlooked, but that hopefully won’t happen with Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
