I picked up a used AIB 4090 for less than £1200, they cost much more on CEX and eBay, built like a tank and looks like it will be a top tier card for at least the next couple of years.
5090 is so disappointing, 20-30% better at best for over 2x the price I paid? Yea no thanks lol
5080 kind of shat the bed but that was expected given its specs I guess.. I wonder if the same will happen next gen? I heard they’ll be on a new node so we’ll see.
But I mean.. even DF said not long back that even next gen consoles won’t stack up to current high end cards.. dang, maybe we really are in diminishing returns, or if there are any uplifts they’ll be super expensive like the 5090.
