Summary

  • Nothing Phone 3a and 3a Pro will debut at MWC 2025 with a unique triple-rear camera setup.
  • Leaked renders showcase their transparent back design with Glyph lights and a larger camera module for the telephoto lens.
  • Both phones will include a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chip, a 6.77-inch FHD+ 120Hz OLED display, and a 5,000mAh battery.

Nothing is gearing up to announce the Phone 3a series on March 4 at MWC 2025. The company has already been teasing the phone, confirming it will feature triple-rear cameras, including a telephoto shooter — a first for a Nothing phone. Spoiling Nothing’s party, renders of the Phone 3a and 3a Pro have now surfaced online, revealing their design.

Nothing’s upcoming phones will follow its signature design language, featuring a transparent back and distinctive Glyph lights. The main highlight at the rear will be the camera module design, which appears to be significantly bigger in the renders to accommodate the telephoto sensor.

While the Phone 3a and its Pro sibling will apparently share a similar design, there will be some differences. The Nothing 3a Pro will seemingly have a different circular-looking rear camera design to make space for the bigger 3x telephoto shooter.

Android Headlines claims the Phone 3a will sport a 2x telephoto camera with 30x digital zoom, while the Pro model will pack a 3x telephoto camera and provide up to 60x hybrid digital zoom. Supposedly, the two models will share the same 50MP primary and 8MP ultrawide cameras. On the front, the Nothing 3a Pro will purportedly pack a 50MP camera, while the non-Pro model will use a 32MP shooter.

The Phone 3a Pro will be slightly thicker and heavier than the standard variant, measuring 8.39mm thick and weighing 211g. In comparison, the regular Phone 3a will purportedly have a slimmer 8.35mm profile and weigh 201g.

Nothing Phone 3a and 3a Pro will pack similar internals

From the renders, Nothing will seemingly offer the Phone 3a in black and white colors, with the Pro model coming in black and gray shades.

Other specs will remain the same across the Phone 3a series, including a 6.77-inch FHD+ 120Hz OLED display with a peak brightness of 3,000 nits, a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chip, and a 5,000mAh battery. The phones will supposedly charge to 50% in 19 minutes, with a full charge taking 56 minutes. Both phones will feature an iPhone-like flat frame, with a Camera Control-like button located on the right side below the power button.

Given the specs, Nothing’s upcoming phones are shaping up to be solid mid-range phones, though the design might be a hit or miss for some. If priced right, the Nothing Phone 3a series should be a winner for the company.
