Astro Bot PS5 Slim Bundles Are Available Now – $50 Cheaper Than PS5 On Its Own

Following a leak last month, PlayStation has confirmed the existence of PS5 Slim Astro Bot bundles. The console bundles are available now at Amazon, PlayStation Direct, and other major retailers. and PlayStation Direct. The really great news here is that PlayStation is charging $50 less than the price of the PS5 Slim on its own. The Astro Bot PS5 Slim bundle with a disc drive costs $450, while the PS5 Slim Digital bundle goes for $400. Since Astro Bot still regularly sells for $60, you’re saving $110 compared to the price of buying the console and game separately.

We wouldn’t be surprised to see these PS5 bundle deals sell out. As of March 13, Amazon has the PS5 Slim Astro Bot bundle and PS5 Slim Digital Astro Bot bundle in stock. You can also buy the bundles at Best Buy and PS Direct. We’ll update this article with more retailer listings as they go live. Like with other PS5 bundles, you’ll find a voucher inside the box to redeem the digital version of Astro Bot from the PlayStation Store.

Astro Bot earned rave reviews after it was released last year, as the Team Asobi-developed platforming game was praised for its fun level design, polished gameplay, and DualSense controller functions. It was one of GameSpot’s 10 best games of 2024, and at last year’s Game Awards, it won the Game of the Year award at the Geoff Keighley-hosted event.

Every PS5 console comes with Astro’s Playroom, a launch title with a few hours of gameplay that helped show off the DualSense’s unique tech. Astro’s Playroom can also be viewed as the foundation of Astro Bot, so it’s worth playing the charming freebie before diving into the main course.
