Oblivion Remastered Is Steam Deck Verified And Steeply Discounted For PC

After much speculation and a series of leaks, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered was officially revealed by Bethesda. The remaster looks like a major overhaul for the classic open-world RPG that originally released in 2006. original–which launched nearly two decades ago in 2006. If you’re eager to get your hands on the remaster on Steam, you’ll find a pretty awesome deal at Fanatical that drops the price to $41.49 (was $50). If you’d like a few extra goodies, the Deluxe Edition is also on sale for $49.79 (was $60).

As a bonus, Fanatical is tossing in a free game when spending over $15, and you’ll get to choose from a catalog of 12 titles that include Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX, Mindustry, and Teslagrad Remastered, among others.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered comes with the complete Oblivion experience, including the Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine story expansions, as well as the following additional DLC:

  • Fighter’s Stronghold
  • Spell Tomes
  • Vile Lair
  • Mehrune’s Razor
  • The Thieves Den
  • Wizard’s Tower
  • The Orrery
  • Horse Armor Pack

The game has also been Steam Deck Verified, but we haven’t had a chance to check it out for ourselves to see how it runs/looks. Want to explore the world of Cyrodiil with a bit more style? Along with the above DLC, the Deluxe Edition includes new quests that unlock Akatosh and Mehrunes Dagon armors, weapons, and horse armor sets. You’ll even get a digital art book and soundtrack app.

Alternatively, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is available on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for Xbox Series X|S and PC (via the Windows Store). You can pick up a 3-Month Membership for $60. Along with Oblivion Remastered, you’ll unlock hundreds of other games, including others from Bethesda like Skyrim and Fallout 4.
