The images were shared by trusted leaker Evan Blass. They appear to be official promotional material and offer a detailed look at the final design, including all three color variants. This leak comes just days before the Razr 2025 event, scheduled for April 24. While we’ve seen plenty of leaks for the Razr Plus, this is the first time we’re seeing the Razr 2025, and we like what we see.

Evan Blass has since set his X profile to “private,” so you may not be able to see his posts unless he accepts you as a follower.

Three color options and new finishes

The Motorola Razr (2025) is known as the Razr 60 in some markets, but here in North America it’s the iconic Moto Razr. This year it is coming in three colors with different finishes. There’s a dark blue model, called Gibraltar Sea, that has a bumpy texture to the backing. The green version, reportedly dubbed Spring Bud, comes in vegan leather, while the light variant is called Lightest Sky and has a soft grain texture. We’re not sure if it is plastic or matte-coated glass.

These textures hint at Motorola’s attempts to differentiate the Razr from a sea of mid-range Android devices. These appear to be premium materials. Other than that, however, the rest of the design looks unchanged from last year.

We also don’t know anything about its specs. We know the Plus model will feature a larger cover display and flagship-level hardware, so we’re guessing this base model will prioritize value, with modest specs and a decent price.

Launching on April 24

Motorola has officially scheduled an announcement for April 24. It is expected to unveil both versions of the Razr then. Last year’s Razr and Razr Plus (Motorola 40 and 40 Ultra outside of North America) were popular devices, and helped put the company back on the mobile phone map.

The Razr 2025 looks ready to keep that momentum going. We’ll know more very soon.
