If it’s true:
a) Don’t like the idea and i’m against further buying publishers and consolidation, it’ll suck for everyone in the long run;
b) Warner Bros is terribly managed lately (and their management is very arrogant too); if purchased, Sony have to wipe all the top management or they’ll spread their live service decease even further within the Sony. But if Sony fires them, it’ll have to pay them severence packages, so that’s even more money lost overall (so like damned if you do, damned if you don’t type of situation);
c) They have killed Monolith recently, Rocksteady is not what it’s used to be. Avalanche Software, TT Games (i’m a fan of their LEGO games, so i’m biased here) and NetherRealm maybe are an ok acquisition. The only thing (gaming-wise) they have are patents and IPs, i guess.
Overall, i don’t think this is a good idea. But hey, i don’t see the whole picture, i didn’t take their streaming service into account and i know that no one will listen to me in the end)
