We used to hear that they didn´t needed to port their games on PC like Xbox in a very recent past. We even heard from Sony themselves that PC were their main competitor.
Then, something changed and narrative was like “oh its gonna take 3 years to land on PC”. Then 2 years, one year and a half, one year to just a few selected day one games, all the way to the recently announced Marvel Tokon which will be available day and date with PC featuring crossplay between both platforms enabled.
So while we are at it, lets just go ahead and pretend that Marvel Tokon won´t be available on Xbox day and date as well via Steam with all the mods and stuff right? A very sensitive subject regarding Playstation first party games, which Sony, until the present moment, refuses to address and/or take any action to block or prevent Xbox gamers from getting access to. Which begs the question:
Will they?
Maybe their plan is just to remain silent and do nothing as they will be filling their pockets full of money from Xbox gamers anyway while they won´t have to alienate its fanbase or dealing with angry hardcore PS fans since they´ll won´t be directly porting Playstation games to Xbox.
So yeah, your rhetoric “PS makes plenty of money to stay the course.” serves them just right.
