I am a very pale girl. I get sunburnt easily. And I also don’t do well in the heat. Needless to say, summer is rough for me. However, this year, I’ve found a handful of holy grail products I will be buying again and again when summer rolls around.

I’m not one to gatekeep, and since it’s Prime Day (and all my faves are on sale), I wanted to share the wealth. You have until the end of July 11 to score Prime Day deals, so don’t wait to add to cart if you also have a love/hate relationship with summer.

An ultra-portable personal fan

Up first, we have a foldable personal fan. I keep this baby in my purse at all times and bring it out when I need a breeze. It’s extremely clutch when my makeup starts melting off from the heat. I just run it for a few minutes to keep everything as sweat-free as possible.

Face and scalp sunscreen

My. Scalp. Burns. If I spend a day at the beach without a hat, I’m all but guaranteed an angry, red scalp the next day. And don’t get me started on the peeling. The Oars + Alps face and scalp SPF mist has been working wonders for me this summer. I use it religiously on my scalp, and it doesn’t make my hair greasy (unless I spray it five-plus times in a day). It’s also amazing for touching up my face SPF throughout the day.

Powder sunscreen

Another purse staple of mine is powder sunscreen. I use the Hawaiian Tropic mineral powder, but it is unfortunately sold out on Amazon. (You can grab it for $2 off at Target if you’re a Circle member.) The Supergoop! powder SPF is another great option, and it’s on sale at Amazon. I also use the powder on my face and scalp — for SPF purposes, but also to help with any shine or greasiness. It’s really great for days I don’t want to put makeup on, but still want a little bit of coverage.

Anti-chafe stick

Where my sweaty people with thick thighs at? This anti-chafe balm is basically like a deodorant stick for any areas that suffer from chafing. The formula is a little sticky at first, but it dries down, and you can’t even feel it on your skin. I’ve been using it for a month now, and my thighs have been perfectly chafe-free the entire time.
