Battlefield 6 is on the way
The Battlefield franchise is returning for the first time since 2021’s Battlefield 2024 with a new installment called Battlefield 6.
On July 24, Battlefield Studios released the first trailer for Battlefield 6, and it was focused entirely on the campaign. The trailer shows an all-out global war after some kind of unprovoked attack.
The story focuses on the private military corporation Pax Armata, which is bankrolled by former NATO states “whose agenda threatens to throw the world into global conflict.”
Battlefield 6 will feature all the hallmarks of the series, including ground-based infantry combat as well as tanks, fighter jets, helicopters, and more. Of course, Battlefield’s trademark destruction is coming back as well.
The Battlefield 6 reveals will continue on July 31 when Battlefield Studios shows off the game’s multiplayer for the first time. It’s rumored that an open beta will be discussed during this event as well.
