Honestly, I have always believed that THE best experiences for VR, the ones that were made FOR VR decades before it was available were classic graphic adventure games. They are the one thing that for most would be accessible (almost any age) and very unlikely to cause any motion sickness if staying true to the original content and style. In fact, and I recognize that this is just me personally – I have been an early VR adopter. But, I put it on pause for years because I just don’t find much joy in *most* of the direction it has been taken. If I could do games like King’s Quest, Space Quest, Monkey Island, etc in VR, I would likely be ALL in again. Like I said, I believe those types of games were made for VR more than almost any other type before anyone had access to good VR hardware. Syberia, Myst, etc. are not my personal favorite style of graphic adventure games (the worlds are rich, but often feel empty to me, but I get it). BUT, it thrills me to see this, and I hope it does very well.
