Last week, we reported on a new type of plan being offered to individuals in early access that could significantly change the way family-type plans work in the future. Well, the response must have been encouraging, because Visible is now going to offer the plan to all subscribers starting on August 21.
The carrier made things official with a press release on Business Wire. Visible’s Inner Circle offers an entirely new way to save by joining with other subscribers in order to get a special discount. It removes the traditional barriers family plans currently have, and could be the start of something new.
This could really change things
Naturally, there are a lot of details to go over here, but for the most part, Inner Circle doesn’t have many restrictions. The plan can have as little as two people, and can have a maximum of seven people in a group. While you can sign up using any Visible plan, those on Visible+ or Visible+ Pro will be able to save $5 when grouped together.
The great part about Inner Circle is that each line still remains its own thing. The subscriber will pay their own bill and will maintain control over their own line. This makes it easier to group together with people, like co-workers, neighbors, friends, and others. And there isn’t a required commitment to Inner Circle either, which means people can come and go as they choose when they want to.

Visible is a Verizon sub-brand that leverages the company’s 5G network to offer broad coverage across the US at the same price as many MVNOs. Both of its plans offer unlimited calls, texts, and mid-band 5G data, along with unlimited hotspot; the more expensive plan offers access to Verizon’s mmWave 5G network and premium QoS settings.
The great part is that all of this is done from the website of the app, making things as seamless as possible. And as you can imagine, since privacy is also going to be a concern here, Visible shares that you can set what you want to share with the group. Again, Visible Inner Circle will launch on August 21, and will be available through the website or through the app.
If this sounds like something interesting, you may want to start finding people to join your Inner Circle now, because once this goes live, there’s no telling how many folks will join what groups. But for the most part, this is an interesting idea that could catch on with other carriers.
