The Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE just came out and it’s already $200 off

Samsung delivered quite a lineup of foldables this year with its Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 phones, and, for the most part, they could end up taking the crown as some of the best phones of 2025. Of course, foldables are still expensive, which makes them off limits for most people, but there are more affordable alternatives, like the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE.

This device is Samsung’s first attempt at an affordable foldable phone, and for the most part, it gets a lot of things right. However, one of the glaring huge issues with the phone is that it costs $900. This price makes it a non-starter, but we’re happy to report that we’re now seeing a hefty discount on the device, knocking $200 off, dropping it down to $700.

A new flip phone for less money

When it comes to the looks, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE looks great. It features a large cover display, sleek design, and comes in a range of great colors. Now, those that follow phones will probably know that the design isn’t anything fresh, with Samsung recycling the look from the Galaxy Z Flip 6.

There’s nothing wrong with this, of course, especially when the phone looks so good. But it’s something you should know about since you might be looking to pick one up. When it comes to the internals, the phone features Samsung’s Exynos 2400 paired with 8GB of RAM that provides more than enough power.

You also get 128GB of internal storage, along with a dual camera setup, with a 50MP main and 12MP ultrawide. There’s also a 10MP front-facing camera as well. When it comes to everyday use, the cameras are pretty good. They won’t blow any of the top phones out right now out of the water, but you’re going to feel good using them, and they will produce good results.

The software is the usual from Samsung with a strong showing from One UI, which delivers everything you could want and more. You should feel confident buying this phone since the brand promises seven years of updates. That means you’ll get new features and security updates until 2032. It provides great peace of mind, even knowing you might not even keep the phone for that long.

The $200 discount is an alluring discount on the phone, especially since you’re getting something with a pretty good reputation. Motorola also offers foldable phones for around the same price, but the one thing that the brand lacks is reliable software updates, which can easily make it a frustrating part of the experience.
