With It: Welcome to Derry premiering next month on HBO Max, a wave of new toys and collectibles themed around Pennywise and the unlucky residents of Derry are popping up at major retailers. I didn’t think the Tubbz Pennywise duck plush could be topped from the perspective of “I cannot believe this exists,” but alas, Fisher Price has done it with the new Little People Collector figure set. Available now for $16.19 at Amazon, the Little People Collector It Special Edition Set features Pennywise and Georgie with one arm. Making things even more gruesome is the splash of blood on Georgie’s residual limb. Considering the figures are fashioned like toys for toddlers, it’s rather hilarious this set exists.
Fisher Price’s Little People Collector series debuted in 2019. The licensed sets mimic the style of figures that had been marketed toward kids under the age of five since the 1960s. Fisher Price has released a wide assortment of Little People Collector sets based on popular entertainment IP, but Stephen King’s It might be the most “mature” member of the lineup yet. Other contenders include Chucky Doll wielding a knife and Walter White and Jesse Pinkman from Breaking Bad in their hazmat suits. That said, a figure set that recreates the opening scene of 2017’s It: Chapter One where Pennywise bites Georgie’s arm off is wild.

Each Little People Collector figure is 2.5 inches tall and indeed resembles a children’s toy at first glance. But Pennywise is anything but a silly clown. Modeled after his Dancing Clown appearance, Pennywise has a sinister smile and the yellow eyes that signal he’s on the hunt. Georgie is wearing his yellow raincoat and has a shocked expression on his face. The paper boat that drifts into the sewer in the opening scene is in his left hand. Unfortunately, Georgie already approached the sewer to retrieve the boat from Pennywise.
The figures are packaged in a collector’s box with the film’s logo in large red letters and the entrance to the sewer in the background.

As mentioned, Fisher Price has created a ton of figure sets for the Little People Collector series. Many of box sets come with four characters, including the new Amazon-exclusive Beetlejuice Special Edition Set. It: Welcome to Derry Funko Pops
Funko is releasing a trio of vinyl figures and a larger Funko Pop Town set themed around Welcome to Derry on December 9. The collectible manufacturer is also launching a Bitty Pop Box dubbed Pennywise’s Lair on September 30. This set features tiny Pennywise and Georgie figures and a funhouse diorama display.
McFarlane Toys is launching a pair of posed 6-inch Pennywise figures based on Welcome to Derry on September 15. Each figure includes a stand and a backdrop from the show for $35.
Stephen King’s It: Novel, Movies, and Miniseries Deals
It: Welcome to Derry takes place before the events of Stephen King’s classic horror novel and the two-part film adaptation, so you don’t technically need to read or watch It to enjoy the HBO Max series. That said, it will likely be a better experience if you’re familiar with the original story. Over at Walmart, you can snag It 2-Film Collection on Blu-ray for $13. Walmart also has the 1990 miniseries adaptation on Blu-ray for just $8. As for the book, It is one of King’s longest novels, so we’d recommend the sturdy 1,168-page hardcover edition for $24.50 (was $35) from Amazon.
