Netflix has released a teaser trailer for Physical: Asia, the next instalment of its Physical 100 reality competition franchise. This time the series will bring together 48 athletes from eight different countries, all of whom will compete in a series of gruelling challenges to see who comes out on top.
With national pride at stake, Physical: Asia has an extra layer of competitiveness. The trailer opens with some Korean competitors stating that they absolutely must beat Japan, an understandable sentiment considering the history between the two countries. Fortunately for Team Korea it has experience on its side, as it includes Physical 100 Season 2 winner Amotti.
Other countries also taking part include Thailand, Mongolia, Türkiye, Indonesia, and the Philippines. Australia is also there even though it’s technically not in Asia, though it is relatively close to the region. Participating in Physical: Asia at least makes more sense than Australia competing in Eurovision.
Physical: Asia will arrive Oct. 28 on Netflix.
