Some of the greatest writers of all time have put their stamp on Batman, and Grant Morrison’s run on the Caped Crusader was iconic, memorable, and wild. All of the issues that Morrison wrote were eventually collected into hardcover editions, and if you’re looking to explore his work, you can get a major discount on the first omnibus volume. Normally $75, Batman by Grant Morrison Omnibus Vol. 1 is currently on sale for $27.66 at Amazon.

$27.66 (was $75)

You’ll need to click the coupon to get this discount, but it’s very hard to miss on the landing page. The first volume saw Morrison team up with celebrated artists like Andy Kubert, JH Williams III, Tony Daniel, and more, and this edition collects Batman #655-658, Batman #663-683, and several stories from DC Universe. Morrison wastes no time in setting up a new status quo for the Dark Knight, as these issues saw the introduction of his son and future Robin, Damien Wayne, Batman’s battles against the Black Hand, and a breakdown of the character leading up to his “death” in Final Crisis.

We’ve also included the other two volumes you can pick up in this series. The second volume follows Dick Grayson and Damian Wayne after they don the mantles of Batman and Robin while Bruce Wayne is lost in time after being struck by Darkseid’s Omega Sanction effect, and the third volume explores Wayne’s ambitious project to expand his war on crime across the globe with the formation of Batman Incorporated.

You can also grab a few Batman graphic novel box sets right now as part of Amazon’s Buy Two, Get One Free promotion. You aren’t locked to choosing just Batman paperbacks either, as you can also fill your cart up with other eligible items like Blu-rays and video game art books. As a reminder, you can pick three items and the price of the lowest-priced product will be subtracted from your cart. If you just want to grab some Bat-books to pump up your Bat-library, the titles on offer here are pretty good.

The Batman Family: Year One is a box set of three paperback graphic novels, all detailing the first year in action of Nightwing, Batgirl, and Robin. They’re all housed inside of a slipcase cover, and this is on sale for $41 (was $60). The Batman Box Set is another collection of paperback graphic novels–Batman: The Long Halloween, Batman: Ego and Other Tails, and Batman: Year One–and these are all widely considered to be some of the best Dark Knight stories. These were also cited as major influences on 2022’s The Batman movie, as they feature mature storylines and a deeper focus on Batman’s detective skills.

DC Icons Series: The Graphic Novel Box Set sees a young Bruce Wayne share the page with several other youthful incarnations of popular DC Comics characters like Wonder Woman and Catwoman. Batman: Nightwalker sees Wayne caught in a game of intrigue and deception before he was Batman, Wonder Woman: Warbringer follows Diana, Princess of the Amazons, as she seeks to prove herself to her people, and Catwoman: Soulstealer shines the spotlight on Selina Kyle as she plans her greatest heist yet.

Finally, the DCeased Box Set is a grim spin on the zombie apocalypse genre, as DC’s greatest heroes and hundreds of millions of people fall victim to a techno-organic virus that transforms them into feral killers. This box set collects DCeased, DCeased: Unkillables, DCeased: Dead Planet, DCeased: Hope At World’s End, and DCeased: War of the Undead Gods.
