Looking for a different day?
A new NYT Strands puzzle appears at midnight each day for your time zone – which means that some people are always playing ‘today’s game’ while others are playing ‘yesterday’s’. NYT Strands today (game #626) – the answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #626, are…
- IMAM
- RABBI
- PROPHET
- BUDDHA
- MONK
- PRIEST
- SPANGRAM: RELIGIOUSFIGURES
- My rating: Easy
- My score: 1 hint
Even though I took a hint to get going, I’m classifying today’s search as easy, as it was only laziness that led me to take a short cut.
Once I got my first game word IMAM via a hint the other words were really easy to spot with no snaking or backwards directions, making for a fast game.
The reason for the easy search was the ridiculously long spangram, which took up the center of the board and which made any fun and games impossible.
